Update to my previous post. Decided on a new battery as the original was unknown to me and if original would have been on the bike for about 6 year's. Fitted another Yuasa as that's the make that was in the bike and if it's gone for 6 year's that will do.
Whilst the bike was in for a fettle at my local mechanic he swopped them over.
When I went to collect it he showed me the old battery, the end's of the battery had started to become concave, which was quite obvious when looking at it. Apparently this is a sure sign the battery is on it's way out.
