good luck with the sale John
Moved to The Market section.
I haven't seen one of them for donkeys years.
Thank you.
I managed 47mph on this!!! With the help of a draft from a Luton van!!!

Just to be pedantic, its not a moped. Hasn't got pedals and is over 50cc, but still a nice little ride for someone
Yep, that's pedantic !
i just term anything like that as a moped. or Ped, or scooter! or chugaboom....
its a cracking little thing
I've copied the listing onto a couple of other forums that I frequent John, hope you don't mind....it may further improve your chances of a sale

it's a pleasure, the forums concerned are related to classic bikes so maybe someone will be interested, ya never know.
Good luck
Brilliant thanks
800+ views and 82 watching so fingers crossed.
A couple of comments on those forums suggest that your C90 could be worth up to £1000 -£1200.
But it's all down to the marketplace I suppose.
i'd be happy @ £1200

To be super pedantic, a moped does not need pedals. It needs to be under 50cc and designed/built to not exceed 50 km/h
Now back to the story................. :mfr_lol:

To be ultra pedantic....
The term moped (assigned category AM on a UK driving licence) describes any low-powered motor driven cycle with an engine capacity not greater than 50 cc (3.1 cu in) and a maximum design speed of no more than 45 km/h (28 mph).
Before 19 January 2013, the speed restriction was 50 kilometres per hour (31 mph) and mopeds registered before 1 September 1977 were required to have pedal-assistance.
to all the pedantics.....
instead of being pedantic cannot it be seen that someone is just listing something for sale!! i mean its not a space shuttle or a Faberge egg. is just a bloody moped/not-moped !!
i mean its got 23700 (something miles) but i just said 24000 as its really not that important !!
or is it! really !!!!
you know when you get those feelings you wish you'd not said/mentioned anything......
head in hands moment!
Apologies,my reply was to trump Burchy, then I was out trumped by Mikey.
No reflection on your C90 meant at all.
Gotta love internet communication :listencarefully:
Peace and love

The interested potential purchasers won't care what it is referred to....its a superb example C90 and to the collector it is pure joy...believe me I know these folk
my post does seem a tad strong on reflection.. I'll try and explain..
just sat here thinking "why mention things that are so inconsequential and not related really to the core content.."
I mean if i were to see an ad for a C90 and it said moped and i didn't think it was a Moped i wouldn't take the time to mention it !! its really not that important to correct someone!!! its just a ped, a bike, a phut-phut .. or whatever you call it in a generalist term!
I mean if i posted up that i'd had a lovely Chip butty up a chippy would someone actually take the time to correct me and say you cant say chip butty as (being pedantic) its a fried, chipped potato in between two slices of white/wholemeal/wholegrain or whatever bread !!!! no, ITS A CHIP BUTTY!!
and all the time the true message of the original post gets lost in the endless reams of (holds nose) "oooohhh you cant call it that cos its no, its a xxxxx" anal-brigade !
ITS MY C90 & IM CALLING IT A MOPED !!!
you buy it and then you can call it whatever you like!!
(folds arms.. nods)

Yep, well said sir :agree:

surely its a step thru/through ?
Gimme £1200 quid and you can call it a K1600 if you want !!

and is not so reliable!!
What's the difference between a chip sandwich and chips in a buttered roll? (apart from the bread)
Are they both butties?
in depends on who's book you are asking...
in my book... any dough based receptacle with chips stuffed in is a chip butty !!
and broadly speaking anything under 100cc is a Ped in my head.
i think its hilarious when someone puts a post or an add up and there's always one from the correction brigade that actually takes the time to write in. as long as those reading that are interested get the message that's all that counts
anyway - the sale ends tonight at 8.13 tonight and this post will slowly slip down the list.....into the darkness.
MOPED sold.. He's off to Doncaster..
From what i can gather the guys bought it for a trip to Scotland with a bunch of lads so its a perfect fit
and he called it a moped too so thumb on nose and blowing a raspberry
thanks for all the input and notes guys..

Nice result John
Good result, for future reference I use this formula....
If it looks like a moped, rides like a moped and sounds like a moped, then it's a :censored: moped!
