Title: Fuse block
Post by: sam on September 11, 2010, 06:01:00 PM
Hi,

Has anyone installed a fuse block? I'd like to wire a ignition switched block under the seat to power some accessories. The aim is to upgrade the lights, install powerlet, connections for autocom, heated jacket etc.

Thanks in advance

Sam

Yes, I have bought this one from the US.

I insulated the bottom of my glove compartment pan with bonnet heat protective sheet, and installed the fuzeblocks in the glove compartment. It has 6 entries for 6 distinctive accessories.
Very well built and great quality.

www.fuzeblocks.com is that the one you are referring to??

Chaps, is it possible to retrofit the luggage compartment of the earlier model onto the 2010 model? I have no need for a tank bag and it makes sense to utlitise that space effectively.

As our cousin accross the pond, frenchbiker, has done, its seems to be a good place to mount the fuse block, although under the seat maybe a better option depending on your needs.
