Title: notchy gear changes
Post by: Mark 007 on July 17, 2017, 08:50:09 PM
Hi ,
Could do with some help on this one. My GTR gear changes especially going up in the lower gears are very jerky, and no it's not me before you ask. I have regreased the splines but on slow rotation of the rear wheel there appears to be back lash in the bevel drive. Is this normal or am I heading in the wrong direction.
Could it be the gear linkage or even the clutch or throttle that's making it so jerky, any sensible help would be much appreciated
Thanks all

Fine tune the slack in your throttle cables and try the throttle reset in the link. https://youtu.be/6tdkwHXydy4

Thans for the info, will try this first, I guess the adjustment for the throttle cable is hidden underneath all that plastic, still it has to come off this winter anyway
