I've got a few bits that I'll like to hook up to the battery, faffing about getting into the battery compartment and the lack of space is starting to pee me off.
I've been looking at various Fuzeblock type Power Managers. There seems to be a bit of a lack of info for fitting on GTR's, possibly due to the lack of space, the dealers wasnt very hot on this stuff either.
I'm kinda decided on the Neutrino Black box due to the extra stuff you can get and all soft fuses etc..

Does anybody currently use one of these or have information as to where to fit the beggers. I'm considering removing the tool box as this seemed to be a fav on some of the older videos I've seen.
tks

A friend did the same thing :punk:

It looks to be about the same size as a Fuzeblock, which fits under the right hand dash panel on a gen 1. More room there on a gen2.
Cool, thanks gents, Now to see if I can justify the cost.. !!
It's cheaper to run a nice (fused) fat wire to the space where you were going to fit this and just buy a fuse block to run all your extras from. You can also have some of the fuses powered via a relay operated from the ignition if you wish. Ok it's not as neat but you won't see it under the fairing and probably cost you less than 20 quid in parts.

I've put one of these under my right-hand

Both the Neutrino & the PDM60 look neat bits of kit (I especially like the BT interface on the Neutrino) but both IMHO suffer from the same problem.
Both of them have fairly long lengths of unprotected wire between the battery & the unit. Personally I would fit a master fuse at the battery and then connect the unit to that.
That said I cant really see me using either. My heated Grips & GPS are currently fed from the front accessory connector and anything else I need to use is plugged ad hoc via the cigarette lighter port.
As an ex RF Aircraft Electrician I'm also happy with wiring stuff in if needed although if I was starting from a clean sheet I might consider using one of these, but I'm not :)

I do tend to chop and change stuff a bit, I test quite a few cameras etc.
I like the idea that even I can hook something up to the modules (whichever model I choose). I think these modules will give me that.
I really dont want to go anywhere near the battery after the initial hook up, in fact, I'll be rewiring the existing satnav in order to plug it in to one of the chosen devices. Thus far I've only go the battery tender and the sat nav cradle and it looks a mess down there.
Got the tracker and camera (when I source a decent always on one) plus other bits hook up too.
If I was electrically minded then I'd go down the manual route, but I'm not, connecting two wires I think I can do. Love the idea of a timer too and perhaps other connected stuff.

Sounds like a plan, are there any howto's for removal of the panels or is it a bit of a suck it and see?
Looks like a nice place for the tracker too.

Thanks, I'll have a gander when I get back from lunch.
Righto, ordered the Neutrino.
Apparently it's between Heathrow and Worthing, no doubt they are considering how much to stitch me for Import duty, VAT and handling charges.
One good thing is that if I can any issues with something blowing or a short elsewhere that is connected to the Neutrino I can seek to resolve the issues remotely using the bluetooth, can see power draw, can put things on timers too so they don't all come online at the same time when starting the bike all through the app.
It can track/plot too, I'm guessing it'll use the bike GPS for that.. We'll see.
