Here's a link to a ride from Sheffied to Glossop via Snakes Pass (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHIsAbkhybo)
I've uploaded in HD @ 1080p which took ages. The camera was mounted on the windscreen so there are vibrations. Also bear in mind I was riding into the sunset which isn't ideal!
NB, thats still a good video, there wasn't as much vibration as I expected from what you had said. I agree though that if you are uploading in HD it does take ages, hours to be precise but the quality is worth it.
Have you any more vids? I'll put some more on this weekend for your entertainment. ;D
I meant to do some today but the weather has been pants. My aim is to start logging most of my routes. Call me sad but it makes me happy ;D
mmmmmm i can see doing this. how much does the rig cost?
Hey NB .... that's REALLY good ... goes to show how much technology has marched on over the last few years .. beats using Gaffer tape and front mudguards etc. Look forward to seeing your other routes ... some may think it's sad as you say, but I bet they are the ones who will watch them all !!
Keep going !
Da Boom ... the web site price is around £300 as i was looking yesterday as a result of this topic ! There are extra bits and pieces as well so like anything you can always get extra bits and pieces. I was looking in a diving shop this morning in central London... and what did they have on their big wall mounted wide screen TV ??? Footage from the Go Pro .. it's clearly the way forward.
I think I may have to start my X Mas list early !!!!
I purchased mine for £260 + p&p but the site selling it doesn't list it anymore (http://www.riderz.co.uk). It was stuck onto the windshield using the provided suction mount only! I think Lonewolfs mount location is much better, although I have that location marked for additional lighting.
NB, did you get around to refitting the GoPro, or is that a job for next year now?
Its still on the plan for this year. Aim is hyperlites this weekend (and the new reflective decals).
After that it'll be the go pro
So many things, so little time ...
