Went for a test ride on a GSA today and sorry to say I've rejoined the dark side. Picking it up at the weekend.
Fabulous. Enjoy. I'm thinking of trading my GTR in for a K1600 like Charlies.
congratulations and enjoy your new bike

Good effort Mikey .... I was looking through my paperwork just the other day and realised I went to the dark side 5 yrs ago !!!!  I love it it to bits .. utterly different to the GTR .. obviously ... but just loads of fun. The garage at work, once full of a spattering of different styles colours and sizes, is now fairly full of Triple Blacks, GSA,s and a couple of K1600ds .. and from blokes who swore they would never go "Adventure" or anything Teutonic !! Enjoy !
It' my third GSA and I've found it's better then the first two. I really like it.
All though the GTR is a excellent machine  it seems that a few members on here are going over to the dark side :whistling: I traded MY 2010 GTR for a 2015 ZZR1400 performance sport.. I've had 4 ZZR1400's 2006/2008/2013 and the 2015 model and fancied going back to one.. defo missiles on 2 wheels but on those Europe trips I found the ZZR was the VERY..VERY DAM best at joining the Autoban exiting the service stations  but I found the ZZR did cause my back and wrists to give me grief :hammer: did think of going back to the newest model GTR but decided to test ride the 2016 R1200 gs lc te and I was hooked  not as quick as the ZZR but quick enough to keep them mad Germans behind when exiting the service stations  also at least I get of the gs after a 100 mile trip I don't walk like I've just :shit: me self

Alright Rog.. how are your doings doing  I don't need to promote the b.m.w :nono: since b.m.w introduced the excellent vastly improved water cooled boxer engine the b.m.w promotes itself :whistling:
p.s are you still visiting the bridge? also how is the slightly older Geoff doing.. he must be pushing 70 now surely the old bugger as hung is gloves by now! :mfr_lol:
yeah yeah yeah :sleep1:
We have moved house and the 'Bridge' is now out of reach
Geoff is ok and hasnt hung up his gloves as far as I know
These BMW owners don't half go on. Trying to justify their decision I suppose!
