Post by: tapps on May 02, 2017, 09:21:44 PM
had a close call on the GTR today, was traveling from worthing on the A27,there were 2 van's pulled over on the side of the road, they were changing a tyre, the fool in front of me decided to STOP,there was plenty of room to pass,i gave the brake's a good test, thats for sure.i was about 6 feet short of hitting it, i was tempted to go to the left of the car fortunately it never came to that.there are some right numpty's out there that's for sure.it wasn't till i got home & it all sank in,i realise how lucky i was.

That's when you want a bike cam if anything had happened you would have had proof.

One should test the ABS a couple of times a year and if you have a gen1, then both front and rear to make sure it works.  I think we're finding (US side) that not using it may cause issues with the unit itself.  Also flush out the brake fluid at least once a year.
