Lol, I've got a 590LM, since I never had a 660 can't say much about the comparison.

Ichanged a 660 for a 590LM,
The 590 doesn't have inbuilt speaker like the 660, and i do find that the 590 is not capable of playing /storing music, although some say it does (I haven't worked out how to do it)
Operation systems are better on the 590, although it still occasionally chooses a weird route. It seems faster and offers greater flexibility in usage.
The 590 is robust weatherproof and so far reliable
I was thinking of changing over last year as it does look a nice bit of kit, but decided to stick with the 660 for a bit longer as it still does the main things I want it to do and the map updates are still supported. I think the price is steep for what it is, and there seems to be quite a few glitches according to the zumo forums.... pity they couldn't squeeze a dab radio in there too

Riding down to Croatia later this year so was considering an upgrade, but I'll be sticking with the 660, thanks for the replies.
Can put an extra on your smartphone as backup. Type 'app motorbike' in google and find out :punk:
The 590.
Also can be paired up to there own TPs sensors which I think you purchase separately and just screw on the valves not that you will need them on The GTR
