glad to see the end of this month,i've done nothing but shelled out,i've insured the car & my 2 motorbikes, done the road tax on the car & the gtr 1400,the car has had a small service, mot, new rear disc's & pad's, there's an oil leak on the front of the engine, after investigation it's the oil pump, it's booked in for that job on the 7th April,my gtr1400 has had the VALVE service done with a pair of tyre's, then i noticed the mot on the gtr is due for renewal on the 3rd of april,it's booked in on the 7th of april.is it right that as long the gtr is booked in for a mot test although it's ran out i'm ok to ride it to the test station for a mot to be carried out.
Wouldn't be a good time to ask for a loan then Tapps :mfr_lol:
you could always try. :gun_bandana: :gun_bandana: :gun_bandana:
As far as I know it is still the case that you can ride to a pre-booked MOT ( i.e. the garage can confirm your appointment), although to use the vehicle for any other purpose between the expiry of the MOT and the journey to the test is strictly illegal. I seem to recall that the route to the test has to be reasonably direct and the journey only for the purposes of the test.
