We'd entered the National Rally for the first time this year but after hearing it was more a good social event than a challenge we decided we wanted to do something we could get our teeth into.
It started with a very innocent-sounding "How do you fancy doing a UK 4 Corners Gold?"...you'll have to go here (http://thewellers.net/ralliesandrides/Iron%20Butt/SS2000Gjun11/SS2000Gjun11.htm) to read the rest of Lyn's report.

All that in 24hrs?! I'm impressed. I know you can have a power nap by leaning on the tank, but a pillion having a sleep whilst riding? How does that work?
Unfortunately the rocket-assist accessory wasn't available when I enquired! ;D The 4 Corners was in 24 hours, the 2000 was in 36.
Lyn quite often has a sleep on the back when we're doing rides like this.

I dont know how you manage. I'd be wanting to stop all the time and record the journey by taking pics.
St Davids is a lovely city, pity you didn't have time to loiter around and have a look see, your pic headed on the way to St Davids is Newgale beach, camp site on the right (liable to flooding both by sea and the rain) but a not too bad pub serving fine ale and food next door :)
