Only the bead blasting to remove all the c**p!
i actually had the ABS ring sand blasted then painted gloss black by a friend who has his own paint shop, I had my wheels and stand powder coated black.
Looks and works fine.
i had mine changed under warranty the bike was only 18 month old at the time
Mines just under 3 years now so no claim for me😏But I'm surprised that it works after being painted!!!
Cheers guys👍

I agree. He needs to quit riding in bad weather.
The sensor uses Hall Effect to detect the notches in the reluctor ring so take it off, remove rust with wire brush, paint with Rust Remedy, and the top coat with rattle can paint in the colour of your choice. Anyone for a lime green ring? :mfr_lol:
Not a bad choice, actually. Never thought about painting the ABS wheel.. I'm going to think about that now after a Scotch or two or three.

Jim have you found a supplier for Bushmills Whiskey yet ?
They don't carry it in Virginia. I'll check Maryland.
Update: Looks like they carry it in MD. Which variant do you recommend?
