Title: The Bay
Post by: Icefever on March 16, 2017, 05:34:42 AM

When Ebay started it was a revolution in auctions and buying whatever you were after. Over the last few years though prices have gone stupid,  as an homebrewer I can order what I want from my local HB supplier cheaper than the bay.
Take this Givi tank lock that I'm hoping to buy....I've found it a lot less at motorbike shops (around £20) than the bay...guess where my order will finish up??

One can get good deals on ebay still, but you really need to look all over the place first.  What's strange for me is that I can get filters and such cheaper at my Toyota dealer than I can get online.

As I said, I can see home brew stuff that I could use or need on the USA site....the item may be say £20 but then the P&P is way out wacky like £30.  I may as well buy new this side the pond for £25/30 with free P&P..
