Anyone ever fitted a Tab as satnav device using Ram mounts? Can you get the actual tablet holder with ball fitting as I already have mount and extension arm?
Not sure what else you would be able to see, instrument wise.

That's too easy.. I actually keep my phone in the top case and just listen to my stored music through my Sena bluetooth. Get calls that way as well. I think mounting on the handlebars is a good idea if you are using it for GPS..
Plenty of room between handlebars for a little 7 inch Samsung tablet to use as satnav. I have risers fitted with built in socket for power and when fitted I can still see clocks and warning lights etc.
