Does anyone know the size of the wheel valve hole as I want to put some angled valves in. Ta
I want to say it's 8mm but I know that there's a thread around here somewhere with that information... It takes an 8mm valve stem.
11.3 mm hole the threaded part is 10 mm , 8 mm is for alot of European bikes . If you are putting 90 degree stems in to replace kwak ones as I have done be careful as the kwak ones are very brittle .

As far as I'm aware all gtr 1400 have 11.3 valve stem fitting US/UK all markets as are most jap bikes.
You can buy angled Valves that screw onto the original when you need it, got mine off Amazon.
Just had a quick google and i see Halfrauds do them too.
If your happy to do without TPS fit 90 degree stems .

Mine's 8mm.. I've measured it. My bike is US/JAP
The actual stem that you use to inflate sticking out with the cap on is 8mm there abouts (schrader)the hole in the rim is 11.3 fitting .
I don't remember the hole being much larger than the stem...

Schraeder Valves can be fitted to 0.453" (11.5mm) holes or to 0.625" (15.9mm) holes.
Most cars and bikes have the smaller size hole.
Both have an 7.7mm outside diameter shaft with 32tpi or a thread pitch of 0.794mm.
I think were getting muddled here , if you want to fit new valve stems thet are 90 degrees the hole in the rim on gtr 1400s is 11.5 mm in diameter ,the correct valve fitting is 11.3 there abouts depending how accurate the manufacturer measures it . These are available from lots of places on the web from £3 to 10 . I am currently working on a new pillar to hold the tps gubbings that screws onto an aftermarket valve assembly.

George you are correct
Oh, I see what you're up to now... Good luck with that! We did have a 90 degree stem that worked with the existing older sensors (the ones where the battery could be replaced) that was actually spec'd for a 'Wing. I have both of them mounted currently. So if you can machine a different post that can accept a readily available 90 degree stem, you'd definitely have a winner.
I would like that.
