Title: 2016 screen fit 2014 model

Hi
Does anybody know if the new 2016 screen will fit a 2014 model.
Although my GTR has a 2016 plate it is a 2014 model. Looking for a screen that will lift the wind a bit higher, thought the 2016 screen might help.

Not sure if it will bit others on here will know, but a lot of us fit a laminar lip onto our original screens and find them very good, for instance I am 6'3" tall and I get out of the wind easy with this device, I can even ride with my visor up and feel fine.

As Alan says I would try a Laminar Lip first as it will most likely meet your requitrements, I have an LL on my 2016 GTR and it is very very good

The 2016 screen is obviously a different part number because its a completely differently designed screen which features a vent, as to whether a 2016 screen will fit your 2014 model bike....I don't know, a 2016 screen will be expensive though   :smiley:

i dont think the 2016 screen is any taller than previous models.They have added vent to stop wind buffeting.99% sure it will fit but expensive new when you have bought all the parts,I have a cee baileys screen which for me is perfect. I have a larger cee baileys screen in my shed with a big hole cut in it for a vent which i f--ked up. The 2016 screen is what was the tall screen on
The forerunners .
I doubt the 2016 screen will fit .
Save your self a HEAP Load of cash and frustration ..as the lads said before LAMINAR LIP  ... cracking bit of kit and Wooks 6ft in me sox  :smiley:

Albeit this is for a 2008 using a 2015 screen but I think it should be about the same..

I've done it the other way, so I guess if you get all the specific screen mounting bit it would work.
