Hi
Just wondered if anybody has a rear hugger fitted and which company?
I see underneath the small electrical box and think, gosh that must get water penetrating it eventually???
Surely a hugger would reduce the amount that it gets splattered with, therefore be one less thing to worry about? I can't understand putting it down there above the swing arm why its done, can somebody enlighten me please
I've seen the component you mean, and to me, it looks like a heatsink. It's probably down there to dissipate heat somewhere other than under your backside :cheesy:

Skidmarx rear hugger fitted. Also use their headlight cover. Always had excellent service from them.

+1 and that's the rectifier under there, always use a hugger plus the extra rear mudguard from "Blue" who advertises on here in the for sale section.

Yes that's what I put on ..Pyramid is the better of the 2 products .
And your looking at the rectifier I think ..the colder it runs the longer it lasts .
Coz if it overheats you can get thermal runaway... not good .
Don't worry about water ingress .. its all sealed in resin
