Title: Insurance time again.
Post by: GTRpilot on February 06, 2017, 05:55:29 PM
And so the merry-go-round has begun.
Currently with Bennetts, had a good package, UK/EU breakdown, legal cover, helmet and leathers, protected no claims, the renewal price has gone up by £50 from £161 to just over £200 and the compulsory excess up by £250.
Do I hunt around or does that sound reasonable?

Always pays to shop around, I have a six wheel policy with Carole Nash and each year I manage to get it down to a reasonable cost.

Mine via MCE has come back at £181.only £350 towards gear/helmet roadside assistance included but I'm with Kawasaki anyway  a £26 increase Not too bad as I changed the bike mid insurance and this is for the newer more valuable one  .

Unlike my car where I have received a letter telling me they will no longer insure me direct I have to go through another website or dealer that was with Allianz insurance and the cover note shows my no claims proof to pass on to the next insurer  :censored:

Carole Nash for me as well,  same cover and package I had with Bennett's plus Blood bike cover for a £165, so a £4 increase on last year.

If you're ringing round, Google "BeMoto".

I have their "titanium" cover which includes EU RAC Breakdown cover. Under £200 for me, all in.

Cheers
