If you have to ask a forum as too what it thinks of X Y or Z services then you must have doubts.
My self personaly if I need work doing its either from a shop that I have used for years or its main dealer.
No disrespect to MrPig but it seem a bit kwikfitty  to me .
You only get what you pay for
Good luck

Sometimes word of mouth is the best kind of advert..  I've lived in places where the independents were the best and that's where I took my bikes.  Only found out about that from my friends.  How can you find out about the best/worst places to take your bike for servicing without asking someone first?  The other method (trial and error) can be very expensive indeed.

Not my part of the world, but looking at their website they are exactly the sort of place I would use.

I'm not tarring all main dealers with the same brush, but my experience has always been negative. They only seem interested in bike sales, and always seem to have 12 year old apprentices working on bikes (OK, I'm sure they're older, but I'm old, so everyone under 25 looks about 12 to me...)

Their reviews are worth reading.

Cheers

Never heard of Mr Pigs but since i  moved up here 5 years ago I have exclusively used Al & Emma at Cadishead Motorcycles (http://www.cadisheadmotorcycles.co.uk/) for all my bike servicing needs.

Ok they haven't had my GTR in yet but they have worked on various Blackbirds,ST1100s & CBR600s and the GTR will begoing in to them when needed.

And the worst main dealers are BMW ones.

I think its good that you have asked if others have experienced Mr Pigs.

I've never used them myself but they look good from what I can see from their website  and this seems to be supported by the positive reviews on their facebook entries

Go for it I'd  say, .......I would

Keep us posted

I have asked your opinions purely as the only experience of service outside the dealer network was dire. I don't particularly like the GBMoto group of companies (Kawasaki dealers) who seem to own everything in the north west, as I have had poor dealings with them in the past. I have mostly used J and S at Northwich who have been very good but I am looking for future alternatives. The GTR is a complex piece of kit and I am not skilled enough to do more than the basics myself, preferring to go to a dealer or a well recommended non franchised service shop. Only a fool would take their Bentley to Kwik Fit.
Thanks for your input.

I use 2 Mach's Motorcycles in Northwich, it's a small unit family run business, run by Ian Mackman, (Isle of Man TT champion and ex-Norton factory rider). Really nice chap, has done a bit of work on my bike, replaced batteries in the TPMS for me, fitted some running lights, and has serviced the bike. I'll use him again, and I can walk there and back
