Does anyone have experience of using different weights on the ends of the handle bars?
What would be the advantage of heavier weights?
Heavier bike..
Dampens the vibrations through the handle bars. Heavier the weight, the more it damps, although there is a point where it affects the gas mileage.

no vibes on mine ...no need for heavier weights

I'm feeling better with my fourth
I plead the fifth.
no amendment required
Fourth or fifth it is, but what's the opinion on these weights?
If I put new weights on what difference would I notice?
I don't feel I have the need to, but until you try it you can't knock it can you!
IT might be a bit slower with the extra weight!
I've seen different coloured end weights which some say improve the look of their bikes, but not for me
I cant see why you would want heavier weights if the OEM ones are working well and doing their job ...

I have a Throttlemeister Heavy throttle lock that fits both the 1400 and the GTR1000.
I tried them on the 1400 and while they work fine as a throttle lock, they made no difference to the vibes, but then again my 1400 doesn't really have any vibes.
On the 1000 they make a huge difference but it's motor is nowhere near as smooth as the 1400.
Yes, they work. If you have a buzzy 1400 they may help.
In my experience if you have numb hand problems on the 1400, it's more likely to be the bars position and angle.
