Post by: GTRpilot on January 17, 2017, 08:42:15 PM
Can anyone recommend/suggest a mobile holder that mounts to the bars, for a galaxy S5? Thanks in advance.

What did you wind up using?  I've got an Otterbox on mine so it would need to be adjustable, I think.

Luddite.. :mfr_lol:   Actually, I'm carrying mine in the rear top case.  I only use it for recorded music so the bluetooth works fine from there.  Also get phone calls in that way through the Sena unit.

I've always found the inside pocket of a jacket works reasonably well, out of sight and no distractions.

The idea was to be able to mount it on some of the blood bikes I use as a nav aid. My Zumo is hard wired to my GTR. They keep sending me into deepest darkest Liverpool from hospital to hospital. Easy if you know your way around, but in the dark, pi**ing with rain and rush hour just need a bit of direction 😊

I'm with Wookie,  :agree:.
Used Ultimate add on stuff previously, quality, and didn't steam up in the damp.
Still use their clamp system for holding me TT Rider.
Mate has iphone 6, used thier case on two tours with no complaints either.

Me too. I still can't come to terms with radios and phones etc on bikes. We have enough to think about. However I am warming to the idea of SATNAV, especially after getting lost for 4 hours in France.
