Well its icy out now n my nose has snot icicles as guests but am i still riding? Of course i am cos my blood is made of antifreeze and my ar.e is made of cold steel  n if the road is rideable then im riding it its ow its done dan saff lol. Are there anyone else out on their hoss just for the hell of it or is it just me being stupid and at the same time very heroic 😀
its been too cold for this olde coffin dodger, but, I'll be out as soon as its warms just a wee bit, and up here in an agricultural wonderworld the roads are literally covered in a generous layer of cow sh☆t, which sets like concrete on yer headers and toe caps  :mfr_lol:
Your not alone im still riding every day not been to work in the car for 3 years my poor car has only done 1500 mls running my daughters around in that time , mind you I have gerbing heated gloves and jacket liner .
Been riding bikes year round since the late 70's.
Only passed my car test in 1996.
These days if it's crap weather I take the car.
I have nothing to prove.
WoOk is on the road all weekend :mfr_lol: It's warmer than an Inuits wigwam up here :mfr_lol:
All year biker here too, but got to admit i wrap up really well, and when it gets really cold i will give it a miss. The head has to rule the heart sometimes for safety's sake if nothing else. I will be out this weekend though.
Don't mind the cold as you can wrap up for that ,it's the black shitty crap that's on the roads ,it sticks like shit to a blanket , defo need a winter bike for. Winter ,
Used to ride all year round. Don't have to now. So ride when I want to not because I have to.
I am firmly in the afore mentioned 'disgraceful' camp.
I only ride in warm weather, I like riding in the dark and when its raining, but not when roads are covered in shyte and salt.
I'm hoping to get out tomorrow arvo. The temps are up and hopefully the roads will have dried up.
I want to try out my new boots that hopefully won't take the paint off the frame!
Im the same, was looking to get it out today, but roads wet and covered in crap - hopefully dry tomorrow
We don't mind getting caught in the wet or cold on the GTR but won't start a journey if it is too cold or wet. Saying that. I still venture out on the blood bike regardless.
6 inches of snow and it's still falling. Not that it's an excuse but I just haven't been riding much at all lately.
sounds like the perfect weather for a log fire and a nice whisky Jim

I've been outside with the grandson, snow blowing the driveway and shoveling. Wanted to try the 4WD truck on the local streets but the contractors we have taking care of that are too good. They're just wet now, but it's snowing again and I'm ever hopeful. Anyway, been in, ate lunch, had a beer and now ready for some Scotch.

Right, who made it out then., pictures for proof would be good (but not essential ).
Me? Well a good long dog walk followed by a several hours of pressure washing all the patio areas saw off the remainder of the day, it was cold (about +4c)
So after a bloody good belly buster tea I'm now enjoying a glass of wine, or two or................. :mfr_lol:
Yep made it out today on both bikes really enjoyed it, good ride with the lads on the monster not too manic today quite pleasant, then a leisurely ride with Mrs Zed on the GTR it was damp but manageable. Only down side was both bikes got absolutely covered in grime so gave both a wash and power hose now like new again.
brilliant picture
What make is the paddock stand under the monster ?
Trik Moto - great piece of kit only paid £40 new.

Lovely hoss's nice to see im not the only crazy out in this weather. Although my richa gear is really warm i must say and ive taken off the two air deflectors from my fairings and i think it looks much better but is supposed to aim air onto your legs. Anyone confirm that(08 bike). I have heated grips n that helps to. Just cant resist urge to climb on n ride 😃🏍🏍🏍🏍

Here's a picture of my 2011 Met Dark Green GTR, ...you can see from the crap and crud on the bike that the Kawasaki deflectors do provide a small amount of improvement in deflecting wind...TBH I never thought they made that much difference, They were fitted in with the deal when I bought the bike, so I didn't feel robbed :mfr_lol:
