A few members have used a hot soldering iron and some cable ties, apparently it works well, could be worth trying

Can you put up a photo of the problem area?
Someone will then come up with something I'm sure.

Back in the days of 2009 I used to own a Triumph Sprint ST and one fine day I decided to remove the LH fairing to clean things, don't ask how but I split the fairing along a seam around 6" (I said don't ask 😀) and was mortified as it was being traded in for a new Sprint in three days time.

Having this part in my hand I decided to score the back of it and fibreglassed it together, this took approx an hour to go off and I was very careful to get the edges together, in fact I remember taping the "good" side together first to hold it steady.

When it had gone off I removed the tape and it was pretty good apart from one small bit where it had chipped, so off to the local hobby model shop and I got some fine plastic filler which I applied, it also went off hard, this left me with a slight line which I touched up with a Ford Admiral red stick, a very fine line was drawn down the break and it looked fantastic and even better as it was on the lower left when leant on the side stand.

Really unless you knelt down you could not see it, so when I drove to the dealer to get the new bike I rode through some puddles.

Left is on the side stand next to another used bike and hey presto rode home on the new one.

Never heard a thing.
