Title: Free money
Post by: ChrisB on December 12, 2016, 08:32:16 PM
If you are married or in a civil partnership you may be able to claim tax allowances for this current and the last tax year. I have just done it and it took me 15 minutes to claim £420. Use this link, it really is simple:

Viper, looking at the web,

its approximately a max of £43,000 (for the applicants, partners salary). which is about the threshold of the higher tax bracket.

also - you can only transfer £1100 of your partners tax free earnings and only if they are on low or no earnings.

I'm guessing, if the applicant earns more than £10900 or more than £6.00 per hour full time (37.5 hour week), you will not qualify.

I think this is ideally suited to those families where the total income is about £25000 or less, anything over this and the benefits are not particularly great - likely to be less than £20 per month - but to less well of families = (assuming) £20 is the difference between eating for a couple of days or not.

anyway, this was the extent of my ramblings that i deleted earlier.
