Now I know we have a remote fob which when close allows us to start the bike bit it got me wondering just what information is transferred.
I have a mate who a few years ago stood by the remote controlled barrier at work and "captured" the frequency and produced me my own remote fob to open the barrier, much to our Hitler receptionists annoyance.
He also could "capture" car key fob data, (don't ask) and actually helped his boss put with his top of the range Merc when he lost one, it supposedly has some sort of random number generator in it which rotates through what the car expect to receive, so there am I thinking does anybody actually know for real just what information this fob we have transmit, and can it be copied?
Maybe of some interest. Borrowed from COG forum https://youtu.be/FdaFCRSicGM
