Title: Radiator protector
Post by: John5977 on November 22, 2016, 07:43:52 PM
I've purchased a Beowulf radiator protector. I'm having difficult fitting it and especially locating the bolts through the holes into pre welded thread. Any ideas please.

Check you have the one with a slight curve on there was someone on her supplied with a straight one and they had problems do a search .
It Hooks on the top and bolts on the bottom left looking at it and shares the rad fitting screw

The beowulf rad guard that i bought/fitted needed a small amount of manipulation to ensure it had the correct curvature

I would have to say its one of tge easuest accessories to fit

Hook the two lugs over the top of the Radiator and secure at the bottom

I've fitted beowulf rad guards to my zzr and gtr never had any fitting problems  but both the zzr and gtr are very similar.. before you start bending it here and there call beowulf and make sure they have sent you a GTR and not the zzr guard.
