Assessment done, all's well, funnily enough we came across a broken down Blood Bike at the side of the road as we were returning, the assessor took the package and off we went to the allocated hospital, so I got to see the delivery part as well

 well done, great result
Just had a call, I am now on the rota for calls, unfortunately the U/S bike we came across (Pan), was the one covering my patch so have been asked to use my own bike until it's been repaired, is that usual?
My run if called won't be that far and if it gets busy they said they'd get a marked bike for me to use to save mine?
Quite a few of us volunteer to use our own vehicle if needed, BUT you must inform your insurers as it is not social, domestic and pleasure, nor commuting to/from a place of work.

Yeah they did advise that, some insurers allow the adjustment for free, I think they said Carole Nash supports it, I'm with Bennets so will contact them and see. Cheers.
Contacted Bennetts, they had just had an E mail concerning BB riders....no charge at all :cheesy:
