I fancied a pasty today, so got up and decided I need to ride my bike, so i set off at 9.30am and away I went, ended up,in Croyde Bay which is in North Devon, had a mooch about and purchased three Steak and Ale pasties, then rode home, total miles 374 to get the pasty i wanted.
Having been to Croyde over 40 times I know the place and my family tend to go for a week every year so it's not a new place for me to go, but they do superb pasties.
Alan
Sounds great!
bloody hell Alan, why didn't you give me a ring :mfr_lol:
Well done you, they must be darn good pies .....nom nom
Just back from the pub and told the lads the story, three of them said "why didn't you ring me I would have come" well how was I supposed to know they wanted a pasty? Thing is it's half term so they were at home anyways but as a retired old git of 60 how was I supposed to know.
Good day though, but OC and 100milesaway would have hated the M5 journey from J11 to 27

surely it doesn't compare to Bradford, which is, after all, in Yorkshire :whistling:
OC, Yorkshire is Yorkshire. And Bradford is Bradford. They are not in the same league as each other.
