Hi
The latest must have accessory if you can't wait until the next coffee stop :) :) :)
I have eventually found a coffee cup/drinks holder that I like and that works ie it doesn't spill the contents - thank to Ram Mount and their stay level drinks holder :) I knew the adventure bars would come in handy - hehe
I have tested it by going through a Costa Coffee Drive Thru which has just opened up near me - much to the surprise of the staff ;D
Steve
class :D
How long will it stay warm for with the wind hitting it?
Sorry but drinking hot coffee while riding a bike is probably worse than talking on a mobile phone while driving a car. I really don't think this is such a good idea after all. But what I always dreamt of is the brick-holder, so you can throw a brick at car drivers who just tried to kill you. Would have come really handy after this pr..k threw out a fag out of the window of his car driving in front of me and the glowing ash ended up in my helmet. ::)

Mecki - it is a bit of a joke, not to be taken seriously, a wind up, a bit of fun - hence all of the smilies
Anyway I would much rather be making good use of the accessory socket by plugging in and watching TV, having a shave or surfing the Interent or straightening my hair ;) ;)
I heard stories about people smoking while riding, so why not drink coffee? ;D ;D ;D ;D
But I still fancy that brick-holder. 8)
Will it take a can of Stella? ;D
oooooooh, humour bypass.com !!! the stella would come in handy for cooling a fag burn....... ;D "i remember the day" when you'd reach down to poke the choke back in
It will take cans and bottles - it even comes with a foam insert to keep the can in place/cool :)
I like the cut of your jib RM.
Cup holder £5
RAM mount £20
R&G Bars £200
Coffee £?????
Look on the cops face as he pulls you supping a Costa DOuble Rip-Off skinny latte and warp speed - Priceless!!!

Does it come with a lid to keep flies out too? Looks like it is a bit exposed - and I hate flies and mosies in my drink.
I don't think I fancy this. The wind would surely blow the froth down the side of teh fairing, leaving a brown stain. It would be musch easier to get the pillion to carry your coffee, holding it to your lips when you want a sip. ;)

It would be much easier to get the pillion to carry the coffee and possibly cake as well but my pillion doesn't come out that often so I had to find an alternative. I see I am going to have to do a lot of experiments ;) to see if the wind does blow froth on to the bike but with a Magnesium Grey bike you wouldn't notice any coffee stains :)
I reckon as long as the white plastic lid stays on coffee stains will be the least of your worries. :P
I don't drink coffee but did once fill my Camelbak with 2 litres of Pastis, water and ice.
Needless to say I wasn't riding but it is so much easier walking round Storming the Castle without having to lug cans of brew. :P
The walk back to my tent was quite a challenge though! ;)
