Title: /wave from Worthing
Post by: Tay on October 23, 2016, 12:16:02 AM
Hi ya, been registered here for a while but never posted as I didnt have a GTR, but i'm 90% decided on one now.

Just checking out the 2016 blue one when it arrives next week but likelihood is that its be the silver one.

Previously had a ZZR and lastly had a Versys but time to go for a  bit more comfort, more bottom end and something fully prepared for my fat arse.
Hopefully have one soon.

No lateral stabilisation?

I fear it may spend a lot of its time tethered.

Eyup - Welcome, good choice should you go the extra 10%, even better if you go for the Silver.

Thanks for the kind replies...and sorry for the delay responding.

Some updates:
Local dealer is talking poo - he was suggesting I needed to get one now due to Euro4 and stuff from Jan 1st..
Went to the NEC and saw the Silver next to the blue one - Wife didnt like the blue one at all. Must admit I wasnt too taken by it.
Local dealer wasnt doing a great deal as was being suggested - it was simply base without discount
Colchester Kawasaki nice bunch and told me not to rush into a decision offered me a test on a demo model, and offered the demo model (blue, 350Miles) at a cracking price too, some 2k ish off new with the full GT kit, alas, the wife still doesnt like the blue.

SO, hanging on until March and possible salary increase and backpay....maybe...I have an isle of man trip in June so need something by then.
