I have looked at them and done a bit of research I reviewed this one and the throttlemiester one.
The throttlemiester  one had matching bar ends and you can choose the weight you want the both work the same just a friction lock there is a link below  30 or 40 different in price can't recall exactly the difference.

Sorry, wouldn't entertain either!
The idea of anything mechanical restricting throttle / twistgrip return frightens me, defeats the object of the design!.
I regularly us a Scot Oil Cramp Buster, but does not restrict throttle action or return, just elimates the grip pressure by resting the wrist on it, take it off, decelerates......I like that idea!
Hopefully one day I'll e able to justify a proper cruise control kit or a new GTR with it fitted!

Have had a ThrottleMeister Heavy on my GTR1000 for years with no problems.
Because its a friction lock you can shut or adjust the throttle at will and a quick twist of the bar end releases it.
Perfect for long rides across Europe but less useful on our overcrowded roads.

Hi,
Yup, had them on my ZZR and more recently my Versys 1k, does exactly what it says on the can.
Its the least intrusive design I've seen so far, once you tweak it on, simply easing off the throttle releases the friction thus allowing unhindered throttle release, feels safe, and easy to use one handed.

Since Kawasaki's  don;t seem to like cruise control I suspect I'll move my old one off the versys, I have hand guards on that though and I need to ensure I've still got all the original bits for it.  Alternatively I'll just get a new one, but in no hurry for now.

Had the throttlemeister on my C10 and then tried it on the C14.  Don't much care for it unless you are traveling straight and level with no traffic.

i actually have one of these in my Garage somewhere.  for the GTR14 2010 version.

i bought it, tried it and it was OK but ended up keeping my other method so I'm sure its kicking about t=in the garage somehwere...  it did what it says on the tin, was good.  very easy to fit and was heavy so was a bar end weight too

if youd want mine i can see if i still have it...?  let me know

Hi all.
I wrestled with this one a few year back on my GTR1400, looking for a throttle lock and was shocked at the price of them especially the bar end type, then I found this on the web - http://www.murphskits.com/catalog/docs/Rostra%20install.htm
I decided to go with fitting the Rostra cruise control and have been more than chuffed to bits with the results, I can engage the cruise from around 35 mph upward and holds the set speed very accurately with no hunting, it cost me around £150 at the time so would think will be a shade dearer now but was worth every penny.
Oh yes if anyone has doubts about safety it is disengaged by using either brake or pulling in clutch lever and of course by cancel button.
The instructions are very good and all the parts are available on the web.
I did a minor alteration to the bracket fitted to the throttle stop on the carb but otherwise all same.
If anyone wants any more info I am only too glad to help.
