Just been into chat to kawasaki dealer and it appears the GTR WON'T pass Euro 4 so will no longer available in Europe after current stocks have been sold .. so Wooks ordered one 😊
Good news it means that our ones will go up in value as they become rarer.
Possibly !! Also the Triumph Trophy is no longer produced and the EXPLODER may/will NOT meet euro 4 .....
What pissed me off is bloody wanky buerocats
Messing with the infernal combustion engine and BIKES .. When ooop coz every vehicle is now less polluting .. we can now build a nuvver frigging runway and not cause excess pollution .
Bollox wooks gannin to Yankee land 😄😄 :2guns::2guns:
P's
Ah still WON'T buy a recycled panzer wagon or u boat !!
Pass me cycle clips :mfr_lol:
pps
And it's gonna be black or dark blue if poss :mfr_lol:
Kwak that is .. not a panzer lol
Are you saying that the GTR will no longer be sold in Europe?
According to the info I got today
I'll make some enquiries
According to what I read, Euro 4 came into effect in 2005.. Someone is a bit behind. They're already on to Euro 6 in 2014.

Trust me Doebag no one sees me coming litterally or figuratively
It has been my intention since returning back from a 4k trip in 14 days on tiger 1050 to replace it with a NEW GTR .
As for sales person .. well he's one of our wee gang and a GOOD Friend .
Ok ah got me numbers mixed up but that happens when ya deef lol
So the only thing that's BAD about the news is I have pulled the tiggur 3 months early
If the great GTR is getting pulled from Europe ..well am gonna get a cracking deal :punk:
there may be a new model in 2017
Correct oh wise and skinny one O.C😊
Just hope it ain't withdrawn and let's hope a potential 17 plate doesn't come with lekky suspenders...auto sandwich maker....cornering lights ...cornering abs ...auto bollox washer etc etc Experienced riders DON'T NEED EM :smartass:
Perhaps that's why a few bewilder purchase panzer s lmao
Wook is right. It's Euro4 that takes effect for bikes at the end of 2016.
Not sure it will prevent the GTR from being made as it's already sold in California.

and the pound plummets. Inflation on the way!
Aye that's another reason I pulled the trigger today as imports are gonna whoosh up if the Sterling stays down 😕
Tiz odd .. Sunderland south of the Tyne aka makums. . Voted LEAVE ... who's the biggest employer ??? NISSAN ... and ? what .... they are considering pulling the plug.
Talk about baby an bath water :nono:
I thought Nissan were talking of extra investment, not leaving the U.K
EDIT---- http://www.sunderlandecho.com/news/business/nissan-halts-investment-in-sunderland-plant-until-brexit-deal-clear-but-boss-reasonably-optimistic-1-8052373
Brexit big mistake as far as pound concerned. We may all have to go to Bognor next year rather than abroad if pound continues to fall.

There's sooooo many places I've yet to see/visit in our beautiful country, and I won't need to visit an airport, ferry terminal or even train station and I can do it all without my passport or exchanging currency
I dont think I've ever visited Bognor though :mfr_lol:
O.C am always a bit wary of any were that has the name BOG in it :mfr_lol:.
And it cold be even worse we could all have bmw s and never get there . :mfr_lol:
Agreed great places to visit here but would be a shame if far away places become unattainable due to a bad decision. And if a BMW was involved bloody hell....
Pete you used the words "bad decision and BMW together, was that a Freudian slip :mfr_lol:
Freudian slip, Moi

After any divorce, you'll get a period of financial insercurity, 2nd biggest economy in europe and 5th biggest in the world, we'll be okay in the long run but it may be a long run.

So, the big K Co. has sorted the ZZR14 for Euro-4.................see http://www.motorcyclenews.com/news/new-bikes/2015/october/updated-kawasaki-zzr1400/
Quote -
"While getting the ZZR Euro4-compliant, Kawasaki have also given both models a bit of a refresh and spec boost." Seems positive?
Surely it would be foolish for the lesser tuned GTR not to be engineered the same as basically using the same motor? :undecided:
Thoughts or updates?
And as for Brexit, would it be financially any different if it went 'tother way? Who knows!
Wait till Trump gets in......the whole planet will be f :censored: d then! :gunsmilie:
Snowy well put ... it could be down to European sales of the GTR .. as it's the less electronically advanced (Thank Gawd) of all the tourers .
It could be that the big K is going to go down the route of full lekky wot ever.
Time will tell ..all I can say is what I was told in VERY good faith

Spot on Charlie - was in CMC Chesterfield yesterday and they tend to display the tourers in a section on their own. They have quite a few, a GTR was next to an FJR and an RT1200 funnily enough i actually thought how well the GTR looked among the company either side.
Growing old gracefully --- Darcey Bussell - mmmmm.
As our friends across the pond would say ..
Nowt like CUBES and PRESENCE on the road...and any bike less than 1ltr is a moped  :mfr_lol:

Was at Intermot at the weekend. No GTR on the stand. Spoke to a rep and he confirmed that it will not be on sale as a 2017 model because of euro 4. Wouldn't be drawn on a new model.
My SX Tourer coped with filtering at the jam packed Autobahn city exits, do GTR owners have any issues?

most of the members on here have issues. :mfr_lol:
However I suspect you are referring to our GTR bikes, where there are very few issues/problems, ........rear suspension adjuster can stick, some front brake discs have been known to warp although keeping bobbins clean will help to eliminate this, some find the screen to be less than completely effective but his is down to individual riders,
TBH the bike is rock solid and extremely well proven.
Drop into the intro section and tell us a bit more about yourself
Issues who has issues mr O.C. all I want is my missing screw back that came loose . :ohplease: :mfr_lol:

The big K has to be able to sort this and I think they will .. but with all the electronic trash that as PROPER experienced and may I say advanced rideas we don't need .
