Post by: PRD on October 02, 2016, 09:45:50 AM
Some people I am led to believe clean their bikes after every ride. Do you? I don't I let the dirt build up first.

I'm definitely a rider rather than a scrubber................TBH these days I find bike scrubbing a real chore so it gets a good wash when its properly mucky

Like to wash it off but not anal about it being highly polished. They only get dirty again

:agree: Might get a "propper wash" after road salt been down, otherwise wash 'n go!
Autoglym aerosol polish is a great 2 minute fix to get all that plastic shiny after a swill!

When their are too many dead flies on the front I use some muck off then rinse it down that's as much as I do I also have a blower to dry it quickly

I dont clean after every ride but i do clean ( if it is dirty ) prior to a ride. I do a deep clean every couple of months or so takes a good couple of hours and looks showroom condition when i have finished. I must admit i do like to see a clean bike, TG we are shaft drive.

I always clean all of the bikes after every ride. They probably only go out once or twice a week in the summer and less in the winter anyway, so it is not really a chore.

I enjoy cleaning machinery, in the same way that I enjoy grass cutting and those other jobs that need no concentration yet keep me occupied without boredom setting in!

I'm quite horrified at the very thought of cleaning after every ride!

I won't wash and clean after EVERY ride out as the Gs was my "commuter" for much of its time on the road but every few days or every week it gets a proper wash clean and wax .. like my cars, they are never dirty and never will be !
