My old gloves were just about knackered so I thought I would treat myself to some new ones, (I'd had the old ones since 2007)
After some research I chose some Held Air and Dry, I have yet to try them out but they are very comfy and fit my fat mits very nicely. They are pricey but managed to get them on offer and I also had a voucher which saved another £15.00  I'll report back when I've tried them

It's a case of "you get what you pay for" again hopefully.
Jen thought I was mad paying £70 about 10 years ago for a pair of Alpine Stars Gortex,
The only good A.S. product ever had, Gortex gave up last year! Still can't bring meself to chuck them!
On a pair of Rukka Mars Gortex now..... as you say it's what fits best and hope they're as good as it say on the label!
So far so good with my £140 spent! :undecided:
Yep true what they say - but cheap buy twice+, it pays to buy good quality kit.
We have Held summer gloves, top kit.
They look lovely :biker3:can you open/shut those vents ?
Neither the vents on the knuckles or fingers open.
I actually fancied some Rukka which didn't have such obvious knuckle protection, but there weren't any my size, these Held ones were my other choice.
I have the same ones... Love them. The only problem I have found is that, when riding during the winter, the outer part gets wet your hands are still dry BUT the wind chill on the wet outer part does make my hands very :censored: cold. Even with the heated grips on it didn't help.
Result: Hands dry but cold..
I've used these gloves for touring since April of this year, as it saves me taking both lightweight and water proof gloves as separates on a trip. They seem very good to me although for some peculiar reason, my left hand naturally finds its way into the lower "summer" side of the glove, whereas the right hand usually aims for the upper weatherproof side of the glove.
This probably says more about me than the gloves!

Only gloves i will ever buy are by arc-on
just on my 2nd pair after 8 years. stunningly well made, soft as soft in a fluffy cloudy soft thing lined with Talk
I buy what fits.
I have long fingers and even 5XL gloves are a tight fit.
No chance of getting those in any brand name ranges.
Have Ixos summer gloves and no-name lobster-claw winter gloves.
Have never found a glove I am 100% happy with.

Debs, if cold hands are the only problem try some EDZ Merino wool under gloves, I bought some on Monday (9th oct) from the sports bike shop for £9.99, I do rate EDZ stuff highly

my new Held gloves have been bought to replace my Alpinestars 365 gloves which were knackered, the lining kept falling out of them after 7 years abuse.....brilliant glove.
I do have some Gerbing heated gloves but they are a PITA with all the wires etc, I also have some Dainese winter gloves that I got as freebies with a Dainese suit, they are bulky like boxers gloves, but very warm
Back in 2007 I bought some Fieldsheer Kangaroo summer gloves which are still going strong but look knackered :mfr_lol:
In a forma life used to wholesale Fieldsheer
