Can anyone recommend a dealer in Essex for servicing? Having tried to call Colchester Kawasaki 5 times this afternoon and getting cut off because no one answered the phone I'm not that inclined to spend my hard earned with them, :nono:
Can't answer your question but depending on what type of service you want the bikes are quite easy to do yourself.
Oil, oil filter, air filter, diff oil etc are a doddle, even removing the rear diff is relatively easy to lube the shaft, over the five years I have had mine the only thing the dealer has done is change the spark plugs (and I reckon I could do them now) and change my front fork oil after I removed them.
Depends on your confidence and capability I guess.
Only K dealers in/near Essex are Colchester K and Johns of Romford.
I bought mine from John E Vines (Rayleigh) but they closed a few years ago.
I do my own servicing.

I've always found Seastar Superbikes at Newton Flotman (A140 near to Norwich) to be excellent. Not Essex, however loan bikes are usually available and the bus stops right outside the dealership at regular intervals if you want to go to Norwich (some five miles).
Labour rate also very reasonable (£60.00 per hour at my last visit two weeks ago).
I would also suggest Bacons ( East London Kawasaki) Eastern Avenue . Newbury Park.....here is their website link http://www.eastlondonkawasaki.co.uk/
I have not actually used them for work on my bike, but they have always been helpful with any technical queries I have had, they do answer the phone and their servicing price points seem in line with other dealers.
Just an update. Had my bike serviced at East London Kawasaki. Extremely pleased. Excellent and friendly service. Knowledgable guys who are happy to chat. Would definitely recommend them.

East London Kawasaki in Newbury Park used to be Eddie Grimsteads years gone by.
I part exchanged my Honda CB200 for a Suzuki GS400 in 1979 here!
