Thanks guys appreciate the help. Is it just me or does anyone else think the black fairing belly should be colour coded. I always thought the paint looked un finished. 🤔🤔 :undecided:

Went to my local paint place, couldn't locate any detail of Kawasaki Neutron Grey, tried swatches, the used spectometer to analyse colour, came up with this:-

Renault.....that's bad enough but BLUE ELECTRIQUE!!!!!
So, £10.36 paid, proud owner of an aersol, two coats of grey primer, flattend back, two coats of this, then 3 coats of lacquer, and I must say, really impressed!
I'll take some pics tomorrow in natural light so will know for sure then, but from first impressions, looking good!

You had a better time than me. I got neutron silver from r s bike paints in a can. Three coats primer flatted then three lousy coats paint 😡 Was awful didnt go on how id hoped maybe it was me i dont know but gave up wiped of excess let dry and flatted rest off. Then two coats satin black and same in laquer. Looks ok n will do for now. I will get both panels on belly pan done proffesionally. So annoying £25 in paint n still ended up black.  :surrender:

Lucky lass! What a beast to cut your teeth in!
Pics post paint, I'm no expert, as can be seen from orange peel, but well happy with match and overall finish!
Just one small pit where knifing stopper failed, I can live with that!

:agree: Nowt wrong with that at all.

Some 1000 grit wet n dry and some good cutting polish (I use the sonus range of polishes) will sort the orange peel if it bothers you.

Thanks folks........just glad that the local paint shop (http://www.autopaintsupplies.co.uk/) managed a good match!
I'll mull over the cutting back Vixer, but the way it looks  - I can live with that!

Great job looks good. I didnt have so much luck my spray ability was left wanting so ended up black again.  :undecided: il take both panels to a paint shop n let them do it properly. Rebuild an engine with my eyes shut but spray two small panels is beyond me😟😟 o well such is life eh.
