A anything is better than the Olympics! And the BBC seems to think we are all interested. Quite a few of us aren't.
If anyone's interested I'm having some mates round to watch some paint dry next weekend, could be a good day. Everyone's invited, no olymics guaranteed!
Whilst his WoOkNeSs appreciates the hard work and dedication those athletes have put in and the National pride they and we should celebrate ... there's a HELL of a lot of TOP at let's we NEVER get a mention.
World super bikes ... moto gp moto 2 moto 3 etc etc ..
How man world camps has this country produced ??
And the riders get NO help with lottery monies.
And NO recognition from the media or anyone outside of the biking fraternity ..

In retrospect, I only followed the women's events: Gymnastics, swimming and football. After the US lost football, lost interest in that. Can't say I care for the rest of the sports there.
