luxemburg is expensive to stay as it has the highest hourly wage rate in europe
Ride the Our valley from Dasburg to Reisdorf and then ride the Sure valle via Erpeldange to Esch-sur-Sure.
Visit Bastogne in Belgium for the WW2 museum and memorial.
Ride the Meuse/Semois valley in France/Belgium from Rocroi to Herbeumont.
Rocroi, Vianden, Esch-sur-Sure are scenic little towns.
If you like small cities, Luxembourg city is scenic and welcoming.
You can also visit Spa-Francorchamps if yer into motor racing.
Petrol and booze/baccy is cheap in Luxembourg.
Riding is awesome, food is reasonable, hotels a bit spendy (stay in Belgium, it's cheaper), scenery is spectacular.
We really rate Luxembourg, having enjoyed many short holidays both there and nearby. We usually stay at AE Aventures (misspelling deliberate) with Neil and Ann Leigh, who cater especially for bikes with garaging etc. and ride or drive into Luxembourg and the nearby towns, or at Vianden where there are hotels that specialise in accommodating motorcyclists. Vianden is spectacular in itself, with some lovely roads nearby.
AE Aventures is around 3.5 - 4.0 hours riding from Calais and is very near to the Spa Circuit. Neil Leigh instructs at most of the nearby tracks and the whole place is set up to suit bikers. If you want details on the hotel in Vianden that we use, let me know and I'll look it up.
For cheap accommodation you could try www.airbnb.co.uk
Am in lux now but the bloody sat nav 390 the routes I put in from ride mag have start and finish in the same spot so it keeps taking me back to the start as it is next to the finish , am off to the ring today at least I can put that in the f-ing nav and I should get there tried to get a detailed map but no luck ,
Ride the route for a few miles then the twatnav will get the idea and work properly 😊
I tried that it seemed to work. Then 20m up the road it started to take me back ,so went to the nurbergring classic car day so was really good ,then twisty roads back to the border to bouillon , fantastic empty roads to here, back roads sat to dunkerque area . Then home on sun , liked what I have seen of Belgium :biker3:
