Decided to change out wheel bearings. Getting a rumble around 60/65 mph n thought for what they cost if it doesn't solve the issue then it's a job done won't need doing for a while. While wheels are off I decided to do a colour change. Bike is 08 neutron silver. Wheel colour I chose was gold. Any input welcome I won't be offended after all I'm riding it. Just thought the two might go what y'all think. :clap: or :mfr_lol:
mine just done in gold.. looks great. you should never really put old bearings back in if getting the wheels done so ideal time to sort a few jobs in 1

!!! there was a big Post on this last week... here we go...
I had wheels powder coated, hangars too and the rear drop bars for foot rests. then i had some pinstriping done to the fairing and panniers... Next the Phoenix decal is being hand painted on by the Pinstriping giy... in the coming weeks...

Ye saw them look real cool. I was toying with bike colour change n thought of suburu metallic blue n thought gold wheels would set it off. IL keep u up to date with pics as I go. Bike looks great stolichnaya :punk: :yes:

Whatever you choose its your bike and as long as you like it.. Personally I'd not do the hangars if I had it to do again. It's just a bit too much. Should have left em black

Yep will do the wheels in primer at Mo and once again I'm away from bike avin treatment again so back at weekend to finish off. My life feels like one giant wait lol.

Ah thanks guys v kind n appreciated.actually treatment now finished officially woohoo god that was a saga. Ive decided to go blue n ive ordered the paint. Im back home a day early :banana: so gonna gold em up friday. Ill drop som pics if i can get this phone to load em 🤔🤔. Meanwhile all the best to the gtr crew. 👍👍👍👍🏍🏍🏍🏍

For me and iPhone it says the file type is not supported. Bit of a shame as I have to forward to work email then load there. So means there is a delay of a day till I'm in work again. Longer over weekend.

Now I have seen a gold rear wheel with the standard diff in silver I would have to get that done as well.

Phew :surrender:thank god for that, the title of this item came up as "Bearing n wheel col" I panicked and thought of bearing collapse and imagined all the damage this would cause travelling at speed :shit: so I was very relieved that it's only a colour change :oops: :mfr_lol:

IMHO the Blue that Kawasaki offered on 2009 GTR was truly stunning :yes:
Dare i suggest that Gold matches extremely well with Green, I think Harrods use that colour scheme :yes:

Yes Harrods use that colour combination and very nice too :yes: Now I have a green one which would look the dogs doodas with gold, but I would have to do the side fairing badges, the wheels and the shaft drive......would that then be Gold overkill :wacko: :wacko:

Haha ye some good suggestions from u all but on hard reflection iv decided keep her silver n paint belly pan bike colour too so the fairing looks more complete. Gonna take some pics while i do it too. Will post em shortly. Not sure my spraying skills are up to a total bike respray anyway i think itll still look nice. Ive painted footrest wings black and will clear vinyl wrap them too t keep foot marks off paint. Ill keep you posted :clap:

Update on iphone pics not loading. I tried getting my pics loaded onto this site and it would not let me. Then i took screen shot of the picture i wanted which changes its format to something the site uses. So now if i want or you want to upload pics from ur iphone to the site just screen shot the pics and use the screenshot photos and theyll send ok :banana:
