I am selling one of my personalised number plates. Over time I have accrued a couple and have now settled on the plate that actually shows my name, hence this most desirable GTR number is now up for grabs.. The transfer assignment fee of £80 has already been paid, so the process is simple, you just send the Retention Document ( which I supply) and your V5 to DVLA, they do the rest and issue a new V5 in your name with the new registration number . The number is S66 GTR the price is £320 which includes the transfer fee... If there are no takers on the forum then it will be going on fleabay for more than the asking price on here. PM me if interested and we can take it from there
seems like a very good price,
I paid £175.00 for my cherished number (K 14 R☆☆) transferred onto my bike, but that was back in 2007
:agree:...hope it goes to someone on the forum, will be nice to see the number turning up at our Annual meet
Now sold via Fleabay....only on for 24hrs before being snapped up

My plate cost me £1100 (that included all the fees) about 5 years ago.

Don't think you can move a number from motorcycle registration to car registration...anyway, it's sold.
My number on the bike at the moment is GT51 SYD which is the number I like on my No, 1 bike..

Someone told me you can't have a newer registration than the age of the vehicle. So, DE11 FOX on a 2010 bike... they wouldn't allow it. But if you have a 2016 bike you can effectively have any registration you want.
(I could be wrong, and often am )
Cheers

Paul no you are correct.
