For a little while now I have been toying with idea of changing my bike. My GTR has done 32000 miles and been brilliant. I wanted a bike with cruise control. Comfort, turbine smooth engine and good handling. Found one its a white K16 engine had been recalled and replaced, wheels too and a prob had been sorted with shaft drive. So lots of recalls and all sorted. What could possibly go wrong? Pick it up next week.

PRD, nice one, I can let you into a little secret, all the owners of K16's on here are part of an exclusive members only club which is sponsored by BMW. The faults which you have described with your K16 are all fitted as standard at the factory in Leeds, nothing to worry about at all.

what dya mean " all the owners on here" there's only four of you, small in number but noisy, a bit like a K16 gearbox :popcorn:
