In order to give one of our regular contributors a very special birthday present .......🎁........
The Wolf has reduced the number of BMW's on the road :scooter: by leaving England's green and pleasant lands and taken his bike with him
has he gone to Scotland

Who knows.............. :whistling:
Hmmm. I'm curious!
is it a tax dodge :whistling:
Don't panic, don't panic.....I'm back. Just completed a staggering 552 miles with the last 118 of it peeing it down, not pleasant. (The first bit was pleasant, just not the last stage).
I'll sort some photos out to tomorrow and put a post in the usual place.

You can all scoff, but ask yourself, when was the last time any of you went out for a days ride and did that sort of mileage?

Satnav clocked a true speed of 136 miles per hour at some point ( well I know where it was !!), and all done on a GTR1400....no drama

About 20 years ago on an R80/7 with an RS fairing! Not an ache or pain suffered............very few bikes I've owned have come close to that!
If anyone out there knows where BDG 350T is now I'm looking..........rose tinted and all that!
Anyhow, pictures?
In recent years no, but I do 120 miles every day so currently adding 500+ miles per week.
Back when I didn't have to commute I regularly did weekend day rides of over 500 miles, mostly to Wales but also the West Country and once rode to Fort William on Sat and home (Essex) on Sun.
That was on my GTR1000 though which is way more comfy than the 1400.
The iron butt no problem for you then Boomer :biker3: :punk:
i did the iron butt 1000 a couple of years back in association with RBL. We did a UK circuit going up to wick , it was great and I love to do it again

Used to do 3 per week. :punk:
Had a job as a motorcycle courier in the mid 80s and would do Brussels-Munich and back in a day.
10-12 hours in the saddle, mostly at around 120mph on the Autobahn.
I've done one 1000+ mile day on my GTR1000 and 600miles with a pillion.
Some impressive :scooter: stuff guys :punk:
What impresses me is that the wolf dared to ride a BMW that far. Now that is what I call risk taking!

What do you mean? The weather was lovely, 19.5 degrees was the warmest it reached while I sat on the lawn of a hotel overlooking Loch Long having a pub lunch. Couldn't have asked for better.
