Title: Standard exhaust : made some simple improvements for better sound...
Post by: beegee on May 23, 2016, 02:42:28 AM
Hey guys,
Always found our standard exhaust not only looking like a very old bazooka
But for me the sound always make me think biking on an electrical vehicle...
...even one passenger even dare to pronounce those words...... She never could ride me again
Anyone of you have made smaller changes on the standard exhaust (without cutting big pieces) but giving a much better result in sound guys ?
Eg moove some parts, drill one or more bigger wholes in specific place(s) ?
Please give your impressions on better sound and on fixing nicely without issues after...dammage, rust...
Pictures or vids would be thankfull!

Thx :punk:

I remember another member reducing the size of tbe OEM exhaust, but its a long time ago, basically the original shape was retained but the pipe was shortened quite substantially so it wasn't the easiest of tasks

i have  Remus Can and link pipe going spare.

it's quiet until maximum revs then you can hear it. but it's too quiet for me.

its certainly not loud but makes a better noise than the original.

its a polished stainless one. taken off last week.
