Can imagine some did better in best conditions : weather, road or cleaned or added accessories, chiptuned.... . What about you !? :scooter:
And could you try it , on a lonely road, or on what circuit eg... ? :biker3:
Ps i once read that a gtr/concoursbiker could reach ... 335kms/hour  making bike lighter and tuned the bike for races....
Vid : https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=BrVuWCHH3Z8
Still didnt reach germany roads without speed limits to try out mine...
;-(
That wasn't on a road though was it?
I've done 150mph/240kph on the German autobahn, but that was fully loaded on the way back after 2 weeks away.

Looks fake to me. I don't live that far away from Germany so once I've run in my GTR (delivery coming week), I may be able to try and let you know.
Did 248 km/h (GPS speed) on my current Z1000SX in Germany already. Had to slow down because of other traffic ;-)
I thought I read somewhere the GTR was factory limited to 150mph???

I read somewhere 258 km/h, which is 160 mph.

either way.... I wouldn't get anywhere near that - not even on an A Bahn
The Mk1 wasn't restricted as far as I know, but the Mk2 is restricted to 155. That video looks as though the bike was on a rolling road. No way do they accelerate that fast!
Probably on the centre stand lol

:agree:
You'd expect to see a change in the reflections of the speedo and rev-counter dials. That (to me) looks like the roof of a small industrial unit or workshop.
Cheers

Yep, speedometer climbing faster than the rev counter, looks fishy to me :whistling:

:mfr_lol: I have an image of the bike coming off said centre stand in the garage, creating a second garage door
Yup, the ignition switch didn't even twitch so done on a dyno.
I've seen 160mph on mine with the oem screen and panniers.
There is a little left in 5th so I reckon 170 would be V-max without changing the gearing/rev limiter.
Soon as ya shift to 6th it drops to about 150.
You can get to 140 pretty quickly but after that the acceleration tapers off rapidly.
Guess also its done in the tuningstore inside... So no wind...
Some bikers had a chiptuning, obtaining some more hp.... Here also ?

You'd expect to see a change in gears too.

Not actual conditions, maybe rolling road with help. There is a vid on the tube of a guy getting max speed with trees going past.
Has to be in fifth to get max as wind resistance slows the bike down in 6th as the revs drop slightly.
