Give autocomm a call, I'm sure they'll be able to help.

Best place for mounting an Autocom is in the tool pack box.

Just sharing that with  you.

Just sent my autocom back for repair

Are Autocom and Starcom still the same company ?

Starcom bought Autocom when they tried to pull a fast one and put themselves into administration for various reasons.  However, since then, Starcom (and therefore Autocom) has been bought by a couple of investors who are just trying to milk the profit.  There has been no proper R&D on the Autom or Starcom units for 10 years and the build quality is plummeting to maximise margin.  I have always been a huge advocate of Autocom but have recently ripped mine out and gone Bluetooth; which was perhaps not a wise move but felt I had no choice.

I agree with Phil, advances in Bluetooth technology has increased significantly and although the connection isn't as stable as a hard wired application the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages.

Sorry but I have to disagree IMHO I have had at least 3 bluetooth units, 2 scala, 1 sena and the Autocom is far superior. except swmbo is moaning about hearing tom tom all the time.
