Might seem a daft question, but how do wear your jacket / gloves?
Logically, and as I always do, jacket cuffs up tight, gloves over the top, great till you stop and gravity causes dampness!
Is jacket cuff over glove any benefit? Seems impractical when going forward as water goes up?
Thoughts?
Jacket over gloves for me but I have the rain / wind guards fitted which helps loads, have tried the other way but for me it didn't feel right around my arm inside.

Gloves over jacket cuff for me that way nowt gets blown up my sleeve, I know others who prefer cuff over glove
My gloves are the gauntlet type so it seems obvious that they are designed to go over my jacket cuff and would be uncomfortable the other way round
+1
Jacket over gloves
Expensive jackets and some gloves have an inner and outer sleeve/cuff so that you can do both
In the rain the have my jacket over my gloves, as once I had the the sleeves inside my gloves and when it threw it down the water ran down my sleeves and in to the gloves.
I do have the sleeves inside though when it's dry..
Jacket over gloves
Having read this threads title again I suppose an answer could have been "on the left" :mfr_lol:
Only in the US.

Well well well... Of all the people who was going to lower the tone, I just knew it had to be you OC...
Mind, I must admit. I did wonder where this post was heading when I read the title.. :mfr_lol:
BUT :ohplease: lets not go there. It will just make me feel sick.

I was always a "gloves on last over the jacket" person until I got caught in a downpour of biblical proportions, with water pouring down my arms and straight into my gloves. I had to stop and pour the water out of the gloves - waterproofing works both ways, it seems!
Cheers

What was that earlier about lowering the tone.......... :whistling:............very tru tho'!
Just got swamp hands and trench foot last year on holiday run to the ferry, so just after ideas!
New Rukka gloves seem the mutts' nuts', but as Paul B says, benefits in both ways, in or out...........sorry! Slipping again! That is under or over!
Boots, Alpine Star Goretex, not impressed, leak both sides after 3 years, have to save up and get Daytona again! :undecided:
Suppose gloves under with deflectors would be best, yet to see a GTR in the flesh with them fitted and know how effective they are?

You know, I never even contemplated that aspect....................until you brought it up. :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol: I must be losing it.
Much thanks!
Lobster claw Gauntlets over jacket in winter.
Jacket over short mesh gloves in spring/summer/autumn.
If it rains hard enough some part of you is gonna get wet no matter how good your fairing or waterproof gear.
As for the innuendo, it's getting to be "Carry on Riding" on here.

Depends of the weather...
Even in summer i wear shorter and lighter gloves, so its not to hot inside.
So i have a little wind into the jacket too...
No big gaps however, i do not want bugs in my jacket😄
In winter or nasty weather, gloves over jacket...
always have summer and winter gloves in bike.. In case of hard rain or hot moments😀
I wear windproof mountain bike gloves.
they are really tight (close fitting) :-P but I love the sensual feel of the might v twin adventure bike! :-)
Leather motorcycle gloves (or latex) don't do it for me.....
