Title: Evening
Post by: RobP on May 01, 2016, 08:48:02 PM
Hi all, recently converted to GTR from SuperBlackbird loving every minute of the ballistic armchair! Had ZZR 1100 back in the day and nice to see Kawa haven't lost their touch. Have just spent out on a Calsci screen following days of Internet fun and reviews, so waiting to see if that works!

Cheers Rob

'Modicum'.....I like that word.  A small quantity of a particular thing, especially something considered desirable or valuable.   So I imagine that p**s taking is desirable and valuable.  I'll have to keep that in mind for the future.  :mfr_lol:

Welcome, Rob!

I did warn ya Rob

Anyway modicum arse is a little known Old English proto Germanic expression.......

"buttocks," Old English ærs "tail, rump," from Proto-Germanic *arsoz (cf. Old Saxon, Old High German, Old Norse ars, Middle Dutch ærs, German Arsch "buttock"), cognate with Greek orros "tail, rump, base of the spine," Hittite arrash, Armenian or "buttock," Old Irish err "tail." Middle English had arse-winning "money obtained by prostitution" (late 14c.).

Modicum on the other hand is late middle English Latin, noun use of neuter of modicus.

So there you have it....simples really Rob, its easy to see how the thread has developed from a simple Good evening to this level of depravity  :mfr_lol:

Oh Charlie Farley can I have the arse cream back when you've finished with it....................if there's any left  :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol:

That depends.....should it be slapped with one or both hands at the same time ?

This method of application is apparently used at the BMW K1600 owners rallies  :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol:

Well as a certain comedian used to say "Thank you for a warm hand on my entrance!". I can see that as with all double entendres they are quite easy to slip in so guess I will be at home here! Just for all those that mentioned A39 to Minehead there is  a new Bike Night on Wednesdays on the sea front by the station. Might see you there! Tried Calsci screen but with no success so back to the drawing board. Thanks once again for the welcome!!
