Title: Top Box woes
Post by: O.C. on April 27, 2016, 10:56:35 AM
My Givi Trekker top box has developed a mind of its own, sometimes it will unlock but most times it wont, the key becomes solid which is strange as I've always sworn by Givi products, looks like I'll be swearing at this one  :hammer:

Luckily I got it off the bike , so now I'll be checking it to see what's wrong

I'm starting to have an issue with my Shad 46.  Locks fine, but sometimes it won't open....hmmmmm.   Anyway, when that happens I just turn the key 180 degrees and it opens fine.

Maybe it's trying to find a new home on an "adventure" style bike

Cheers

You can get a new lockset for Givi on fleabay with 2 new keys. Have rekeyed my 2 Non-Fango cases with the same lock so have the same key for both. Cost about £15 for 2 barrels and 4 keys.

I may have to take that option George
