I went to Honfleur from Monday to Friday of last week, to use some Eurotunnel tickets left over from last year when our group decided not to make the journey because of all the chaos surrounding the tunnel.
I have been before, but not for some 30 years. Our group was made up of me, my brother and my daughter. The last time that my daughter visited there she was six months old, now 30 years old, a London based solicitor and riding her own bike - amazing how the years pass!
Journeys very straightforward this time and good weather throughout with temperatures in the high teens to low twenties.
Not really a big trip, but almost 800 miles went by in all.
Sounds great
Do you have any photos of your daughter? :whistling:
Honfleur is a great place to visit

Behave yourself :mfr_lol:
There are a few pictures from the trip Wolf, probably not of the quality that you produce though as they were just taken with Smartphones.
As usual, the problem is that my limited expertise in this area does not extend to posting on the forum, it always defeats me (thinking about this, so do lots of other things that others find straightforward!).

"now 30 years old, a London based solicitor"
You are a very brave sir, or a few grams short of the cwt!
I don't know whether I've succeeded or not, I have tried to attach a picture of my daughter sat with someone that you might recognise during a holiday a couple of years ago.
the ever youthful and great Agostini
On that Agostini note my brother is a massive fan of his ... he has a set of signed leathers and an MV that he rode to victory in some race or other .. seriously I don't know the details but many years ago they cost a lot of money ... and I mean a LOT. Needless to say he still has them and takes the bike to the Manx TT where it sounds even more beautiful !
Absolutely right Rog, each year we normally visit either the Coupe De Moto Legende or Biker Classic at Spa. Agostini invited Catherine to sit with him whilst he signed autographs, whilst Phil Read let her help out with his stall. Ron Chandler let her sit on his race bikes and push them around the pit area.
We have been attending for almost fifteen years now and I think that we have got to know most of those who are "regulars" there.
A claim to fame is that I was photographed with Phil Read sat on my TZ250 at a parade meeting, plus my name was listed on the same page in the programme with none other than Agostini, I met him briefly and he is truly a very lovely gentleman
Following my conversation with Charlie 747 at "Wheels" motorcycles today in respect of past racers, I have tried to attach a couple of pictures here of Phil Read and Ron Chandler from one of our visits to Coupe De Moto Legende.
Hope it works!
Having seemingly succeeded in attaching only the picture of Ron Chandler, hopefully I have managed to add Phil Read's picture this time!
Wonderful memories for the family Colin
