Title: Pillion footrests
Post by: snowy on April 24, 2016, 06:56:31 PM
Anyone any experience of these?

Strong believer that you get what you pay for, not sure about these! :undecided:
Too cheap to be any good?

not seen those before, personally I would be looking for pegs with a rubber top for extra comfort

FJR rear pegs fit the GTR   You just have to lose the spring if I remember correctly.

I seem to recall that ER6  (F or N ?) or ZZR pegs also fit....or maybe I've been dreaming again

Thanks for suggestions, but are these alternatives all fixed pivot again?
It's just the flexibility of the variation of peg position offered by the rotating arm.
Like the idea for SWMBO, but just the quality (country origin?) of this one that concerns me.
Last thing I need is a peg dropping off through cheap material failure whilst out and about! :undecided:

Take a look at C10 pillion pegs direct bolt on with or without being lowered. Longer, wider and rubber tops. Wife likes much better over stock C14 pegs.

just fitted a set of lowering brackets to my bike for the pillion footrests quality products easy to fit and gives a four inches lower footrest mount moved forward by about two inches but the guys in America sent me two sets by accident so I have a spare set if anybody wants them

I picked up a set (like the above) off this site with FJR rests on them.

Result that Cheryl loves them.  Far better for the legs and better bracing under braking 👍😃
